How education is important

Education is often said to be one of the most important factors in life. It is the basis of our modern society and its importance should never be underestimated. Education has been shown to increase economic growth, improve healthcare outcomes, reduce poverty and inequality, and improve lives in a variety of ways.

Education equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today's rapidly changing world. From preschool through college, education provides knowledge, understanding, and training that prepares individuals for future careers and other intellectual pursuits they may pursue in life. With a good education based on a sound curriculum from early childhood all the way through adulthood, individuals gain lifelong knowledge that helps them become successful members of society.

This is especially important if one wants to succeed in college or any other professional field since he/she needs to be able to think critically so as to make the best decisions possible. Lastly, education helps build confidence as it reduces unearned privilege in society by providing equal access to educational resources regardless of race or socio-economic background. This can have a profoundly positive effect on people's self-esteem levels by providing them with the tools they need to be successful regardless of any inherent disadvantages they may have been born into due to their backgrounds. By providing equal access to quality education, we are able to eliminate some of those disadvantages while allowing individuals the opportunities they may not have otherwise had access too due unearned privilege.
